Her artistry has inspired countless people to experience the beauty and power of flamenco.
Since 2008, she has shared her knowledge through teaching, helping students develop strong technique and expressive, powerful choreographies. Her classes encourage connection with flamenco’s rhythms and spirit, building confidence, fitness, and self-expression. After moving to Devon in 2010, she expanded her repertoire to include Bollywood and world dance styles, while flamenco remains her primary passion and focus.
In 2013, she led a dance residency at SKCV, a children’s charity in India, funded by the Lisa Ullman Travelling Fund. Reflecting on the experience, she said:
“Dance lifts people beyond their circumstances, bringing joy, peace, and connection.”
Flamenco is more than dance—it’s an expression of resilience, passion, and raw emotion. Rooted in Andalusian culture, it weaves together Romani, Moorish, Jewish, and Spanish influences, carrying a deep history of struggle and survival.
Each rhythm (palo) tells a story—whether the intensity of a soleá, the energy of a bulería, or the depth of a seguiriya. Flamenco is a conversation between movement, music, and feeling, with room for personal expression while honouring its structure and tradition.
Beyond technique, flamenco teaches strength, presence, and self-expression. It is about standing tall, feeling the rhythm, and embracing life’s struggles and joys through movement.
